Over the Easter break, we filmed a short documentary called ‘Lollipop’. I was the producer and second camera operator on this production.
Lollipop will be a feel-good documentary, all about the job itself and the people behind it.
We filmed for a few days, traveling to areas around Dublin and Kildare, were we interviewed five lollipop women. We held the interviews in each persons home, to give a more personal feel to the film.
The documentary is currently in post-production, but I’m still on the lookout for a Lollipop man to finish the film, they seem to be a rare occurrence! If anyone happens to know of one, please let me know!
